Lackawanna League schools lit up their scoreboards and stadiums Friday night to honor student-athletes who had their seasons cut short because of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as the doctors, nurses, paramedics and other essential workers who are fighting the virus.
Scores on the scoreboards read 20-20 to honor the class of 2020. The football down panel was set to fourth and the yards to go at 19 to signal COVID-19 was on its final down.
