The freshman football season has concluded in the Lackawanna Football Conference.
There is some tricky scheduling for LFC freshman teams where the varsity teams have several crossovers with the WVC. For the most part, that is not the case in freshman football, which does create some rematches to fill out a complete schedule.
Interestingly, though, I think fans are going to find a familiar pattern with the programs that captured LFC Division titles on the freshman level.
Old Forge, in particular, played a very daunting freshman schedule with most games on the road, which included ones against District 11 teams Northampton and Bethlehem Freedom. Both were wins in an undefeated season for the Blue Devils.
So, here are the winners in each division:
