For the 10th consecutive season, the Lackawanna Football Conference coaches held the annual Media Day event at the Regal Room in Olyphant.
Two players from each team in the conference attend the luncheon that is organized by Hall of Fame coach Stan Kucharski.
Athletes are made available to the media and enjoy a social event ahead of the first day of the Heat Acclimatization practices which begin August 5.
IMPORTANT DATES AHEAD
- August 5: First day of mandatory 5-day heat acclimatization period.
- August 12: First official day of summer practice (Two-a-days).
- August 17: First official day teams can scrimmage a team from another school.
- August 23-24: Week 0 of the PIAA season calendar or Week 1 of the LFC season.
