If you’re planning to be in the Scranton area on Saturday and are looking for a fun way to watch the big matchup between No. 8 Penn State and No. 2 Ohio State and help out a great cause, you might want to head to Morgan’z Pub & Eatery.
The organizers of the “Do It For Dougher” benefit you’ve heard so much about recently are holding another big event on Saturday at Morgan’z, a tailgate party which will send all proceeds to Pat Dougher, a Dunmore native who is awaiting a bilateral lung transplant. Doors open at 11 a.m., plenty of time to get you ready for the noon kickoff.
For a $10 donation, you get free wing bites and pizza, and there will be drink specials all day. There’s even a heated patio outdoors, in case you prefer to watch the game on the patio.
