Tunkhannock Area senior Jake Frisco helped lead the charge for the Tigers on Friday night at Honesdale with two interceptions late in the game that led to 11 points. Those points bolstered the Tigers from being down 26-21 to taking a 32-24 lead. It was the Tiger’s second straight comeback, and third straight win of the season. In recognition of his achievement, Frisco has been named the Wyoming County Press Examiner Athlete of the Week.

Favorite field to compete on and why? Definitely our home field- the fans, the band, the cheerleaders- it is just a great atmosphere.
What is your favorite football memory? The comeback win over Pittston two weeks ago.
What is your dream job? To own an NBA or NFL team
