Several Lackawanna Track Conference athletes earned gold medals at the annual James Cross Invitational in Wilkes-Barre on Saturday.
None better than Scranton Prep’s Victoria Atkinson.
The senior who is headed to Cornell cleared 13 feet, 1.5 inches for a personal best, school record and the No. 2 rank in Pennsylvania according to pa.milesplit.com.
She trails only Sydney Horn of Manheim Township, who is at 13-1.75 from The Penn Relays.
