Hazleton’s half-marathon will be held Saturday, Oct. 12 as part of the Town and Trail Races, which also include 5K and 10K races, a youth 1-mile race and fun run for children.
Registration begins at 7 a.m., the fun run at 8:20 a.m. and the 1-miler at 8:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the Hazleton rail trail on East Broad Street.
The 5K, 10K and half-marathon all begin at 9 a.m.
Runners in the 5K will stay on the rail trail, while the 10K and half-marathon begin at the trailhead, go through the Hazleton Heights and finish with out-and-back sections on the trail.
Town and Trail is part of the Hazleton Area Festival of Races of the Valley Running Club.
