It’s another fall weekend full of family fun. Here are my choices:
Watch the Scranton Iron Furnaces come alive again on Saturday night during the annual Bonfire at the Iron Furnaces. Enjoy music, face painting, balloon art and more. Tickets are $25, but children 12 and under are free.
Enjoy fall fun in the Abingtons, including pumpkin carvings, scarecrows, crafts and activities on Saturday. For a pet-friendly option, head to the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter fall family festival.
Head to the Electric City Aquarium and Reptile Den as it celebrates its one-year anniversary and the opening of its serpentarium — a new feature with snakes and other reptiles. The event, which is included in admission, includes photo-ops with mermaids and cupcakes to the first 100 guests.
Pick apples and pumpkins at many locations across NEPA. Check out the list here.
