Wings! Nails! Gems!
The Grammy Awards has always been a place to let your freak flag fly. This year’s looks range from daring and sexy to sweet and flirty with tons of winged-liner and cat-eyes, glossy, nude lips and show-stopper nails. Here are my favorite hair and makeup looks from the 2020 Grammy Awards.
A tiny cat-eye, a big ponytail and perfect brows make up her signature look that always wins.
Looking good (and hot) as hell with sparkly gunmetal lids, glossy lips and long those embellished nails.
The Gen Z queen came to slay to two-toned hair and emerald patterned green nails.
I actually screamed when I saw the baby blue color-block wings lined in silver with silver lips to match and a rhinestone beauty mark. The category is … *chef’s kiss*.
Lana Del Rey
Lana didn’t disappoint pairing her classic matte black wing with a neutral brown lip.
JoJo has had the best brows in the business since she was a teen. She paired them with gray smoky eyes, clear rhinestone-dotted nails and textured hair to knock it out of the park. (Also, I need thigh jewelry ASAP.)
In her first performance in two years, my girl Demi rocked sparkly lids, a glossy peach lip and her PERFECT eyebrows. Her silky black waves topped it off.
Ava flipped the smoky eye on its head with a deep navy hue to match her dress AND her mani.
Alicia famously does not wear makeup anymore but her skin was glowing and her braids looked bomb. Her hair was gathered at the nape of her neck in a low knot, adorned with Swarovski crystals.
I loved everything about H.E.R.’s look from her orange ombre lip and purple lids to her curly updo and sculpted baby hairs.
How CUTE is a gemstone cateye on Tess?! I’m obsessed with the red and white gems outlining the black flick in the outer corner of her eyes. Sculpted brows, a peach glossy lip and high-pony complete the look.
The K-pop stars hit the Grammys with glass skin and perfect hair. (Am I a K-pop stan now?)
I LOVE a deep side part and Bebe’s looks GREAT. I’m also a big fan of her monochrome nude makeup look.
The looooong, parted down the middle look is what drew me in but the nails — holy moly. The rhinestone-encrusted mani killed me.
