’80s Decade Party
This totally awesome ’80s Decade Party will feature popular songs of the time period performed by Leighann and Company. The event takes place from 8 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, at Mount Airy Casino Resort, 312 Woodland Road, Mount Pocono.
Guests are encouraged to arrive dressed in neon colors and legwarmers with crimped hair, mullets and other looks that showcase the hottest styles at the time. The best outfit has the chance to win $500 as part of the Totally Tubular ‘80s Contest.

Jewish Food Fest
The Jewish Discovery Center presents the Jewish Food Fest in Nay Aug Park, 500 Arthur Ave., near the cq Everhart Pavilion from Sunday, July 2, to Wednesday, July 5. Concession is open daily from noon to 7 p.m.
Stands will sell a variety of Jewish dishes available by purchase with cash or card. Attendees can also order lunch online for pickup. Proceeds from the event will go to the Jewish Discovery Center to fund its year-round programs.

Yoga on the Roof
Yoga on the Roof is back Tuesday, July 4, at 9 a.m. on the roof of The Marketplace at Steamtown, 300 Lackawanna Ave, Scranton.
Hilary Steinberg, owner of Jaya Yoga, and instructor Janelle Tench will lead a yoga practice following a short meditation session by Lisa Rigau. The event will feature live music by Leah Valenches, Juliet Valenches and Peter Brubaker of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic. Donna Vannan, owner and chef of Maximum Zen Café, will provide treats.
The event is open to all skill levels. Registration costs $15 and is open until Friday, June 30. Pre-registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. All proceeds go to the NEPA Philharmonic’s Outreach Programs including Music in our Schools, Meet the Maestra, Young People’s Concert, the Student Mentoring Program and music performances in senior living centers and libraries. Lakeside Concert Series Kick-Off
Join The Wanabees at Hillside Park, 1188 Winola Road, Clarks Summit, on Wednesday, June 28, at 6 p.m. to kick off the Summer 2023 Lakeside Concert Series.
The event is free with live music and canoeing. Food is available for purchase from the Abington Lions Club and the FonDippity food truck. It is recommended that guests bring a chair or blanket for enjoyment in the park.
The concert series continues throughout the summer on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. through Aug. 30.
