Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon added some gold to his life: a pair of engagement rings.
Rippon and his longtime boyfriend Jussi-Pekka “JP” Kajaala announced their engagement on Wednesday.
The Clarks Summit native posted to his Instagram account, showing off photos of the couple and their gold engagement rings that were bought together in Kajaala’s home country of Finland, according to People.
“We got ~*engaged*~,” Rippon, who took home a bronze medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics, wrote in the caption.

Rippon also told People that the bands were unboxed together to make the joint proposal even more special.
“I’m excited to marry JP because he’s just the best,” he told the magazine. “He’s kind, he’s funny, and he’s just as beautiful on the inside as he is on the out (which is a lot). He’s my cheerleader and I’m his. I just love him a lot.”
