It’s been a wild week in the Lackawanna League to say the least.

Just when it appeared that Blue Ridge was ready to run away with the league championship, Abington Heights turned in its best effort of the season and handed the Raiders their first loss of the season.

That enabled Forest City to take a one-half match lead over Blue Ridge.

Also this week, Susquehanna beat Abington Heights, but then lost a grueling match to Forest City in five games.
