In Week 2 of the high school volleyball season, teams have started to establish themselves in the Lackawanna League.

Forest City already made early noise with its season-opening win over Abington Heights, and in the second week of the first-half of the schedule, Blue Ridge, which won a league title two years ago, re-enforced its status as a contender in 2019.

The Raiders turned in an all-out effort in a 3-2 win over Abington Heights on Tuesday.

Cameron Franks had 16 kills, five aces and 10 points and Kaleb Folk had nine kills to lead Blue Ridge to a 3-2 win over Abington Heights in a Lackawanna League boys volleyball match Tuesday.
Calvin Scheideler had eight kills for the Raiders and Evin Davies had 19 points.
