In the December 16, 2018 edition of the Sunday Times, local history columnist Erin Nissley wrote about the December 1968 police raid of Susquehanna County farm. When the police conducted their raid they found busloads of hippies living at the farm in Kingsley. Some of the hippies told the Times that they were members of a theatrical troupe called “The Hog Farm.”
