On a recent trip to Washington D.C., I discovered the Call Your Mother – A Jew-ish Deli along Georgia Ave.
I had to try a several items on the amazing menu – first was the bagel sandwich The Amar’e. The sandwich featured candied salmon cream cheese, cucumber, crispy shallots, seasonal greens on a Za’atar bagel.
Next was on order of latkes served with an apple jam and sour cream.
And last a Jew-ish taco. The taco had brisket, pastrami, cheese, jalapenos, cilantro, onion, lime on corn tortilla.
Call Your Mother is located at 3301 Georgia Ave, NW, Washington D.C. 20010. They are open daily from 8am to 2pm.
