On Thursday Oct. 17, I had my ‘last meal’ at Bar Pazzo. That evening the Scranton restaurant hosted a themed dinner called “Dead Man Walking” that featured entrees inspired by the last meals of people on death row.
I ordered the Texas Death Chamber – chicken fried steak with mushroom gravy, tobacco onions, applesauce, mud pie [coffee ice cream topped with crushed oreos with a chocolate bottom] and an ice cold Dr. Pepper.
Before my dinner arrived also enjoyed some whipped ricotta with dried fruit and nuts with bread.
