45 years ago this weekend Woodstock, the mother of all music festivals, took place in a farm field in Bethel, New York. Several hundred thousand people were in attendance hear music from performers such as Jimi Hendrix, Santana, the Grateful Dead and The Who.
To mark this event, I have gathered two article from the Scranton Times archives detailing the historic event.
