The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce women’s networking committee is seeking businesses to display their wares in their exclusive 14th annual Ladies Night Out.
The event, sponsored by Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton, will be held July 22 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Four Blooms Restaurant, Drums.
“The theme of the evening is ‘Networking, Relaxation, Shopping & Self-Indulgence’ and we are looking for businesses to participate in the expo who offer just that. Shops, boutiques, salons, fitness centers, etc. … really any business that would appeal to a woman’s life and needs,” said Carolyn Boone, M&T Bank, committee chairwoman.
Businesses will have the opportunity to showcase their products and services to an audience of women from the Hazleton area. They will participate by displaying products, offering cash-and-carry items, providing demonstrations, offering samples of services, providing giveaways, coupons, etc. It is an opportunity for businesses to showcase themselves in a creative, interactive way.
A table and one ticket is included in the cost to participate. The cost for chamber members to participate is $30 and a door prize donation. The deadline to register is June 18. The one-time-only cost for nonchamber members to participate is $100 and a door prize donation. If a nonchamber member that participated decided they would like to continue to participate in this annual event and take advantage of all the other benefits of chamber members, they could join the chamber and $70 from their registration fee will be applied toward the price of membership.
Proceeds from this event benefit the chamber’s annual Woman’s Empowerment Grant Fund.
