Here are my picks for a fun weekend.
- Disney on Ice presents Worlds of Enchantment beginning Wednesday and running through Sunday at Mohegan Sun Area at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre. My girls received tickets for Christmas, and they are so excited for this weekend.
- Montage Mountain hosts its winter festival for kids on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will include games, giveaways and character appearances. A lift ticket is required.
- Wear your pajamas to R/C Wilkes-Barre Movies 14 on Sunday morning for $5 movie tickets and free popcorn.
- Take your stuffed animal to a sleepover at the Library Express Bookstore at the Marketplace at Steamtown. From 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, make your stuffed animal friend a name tag, listen to good night stories and tuck your friend in for the night. Pick up your friend on Saturday at 10 a.m. and see what the friends did overnight. Dolls and other “babies” are invited as well. RSVP by calling 570-558-1670.
