Nefarious Musical Accompaniment for Silent Films has lined up three performances with a classic spooky movie.
The group will provide live musical accompaniment for a screening of the 1922 silent film “Nosferatu,” a German take on vampire legends, on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 7:30 p.m. at the Cooperage Project, 1030 Main St., Honesdale; Saturday, Oct. 19, at 7 p.m. at the Bundy Museum of History & Art, 129 Main St., Binghamton, New York; and Sunday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m. at the Olde Brick Theatre, Rear 126 W. Market St., Scranton.
Ron Stabinsky will perform on piano, organ and analog synthesizer at the Cooperage show, while Mark Woodyatt will play violin and synthesizers in Binghamton and Scranton. Other performers include Katie Morell on clarinet and bass clarinet and Jason Smeltzer on theremin, gong and narration.
