An Arts Healing Around Scranton session will feature free yoga and music on Lackawanna County Courthouse Square next week.
Presented by the county’s Arts and Culture Department plus Traditional Home Health, the program will take place Tuesday, Aug. 20, from 5:15 to 6:25 p.m. on the lawn on the North Washington Avenue side of the square. The program will move to the Marketplace at Steamtown, 300 Lackawanna Ave., Scranton, if it rains.
Mindy Hill will teach the all-levels class, which also will feature live music by handpan player Jacob Cole. While some yoga mats will be available to borrow, guests are encouraged to bring their own mat or chair. No experience is required to participate.
