- School: Western Wayne High School
- Art teacher: Justin Hayden
- Grade: 12
- Age: 17
- Title of artwork: “Frozen Playing Field”
- Medium: Acrylic
- In her own words: “As a kid, I can remember when my cousins and I would play ice hockey at my uncle’s pond. It was always a family tradition. We would venture out onto the ice, shoveling the snow off of the pond while enjoying each other’s company. Hours would pass, our cheeks cold. We would play into the night until our grandmother would come outside and offer us hot chocolate by the fire.”
