The Scranton junior scored 25 in a win over Western Wayne; had 12 points in a win over No. 1 Abington Heights; and didn’t miss a shot, scoring 19 in a win over No. 7 Scranton Prep.
Favorite sports teams: Boston Celtics and Dallas Cowboys.
Other sports you play: Baseball.

You are a game out of first place, and while winning a division title would be nice, you do have bigger fish to fry. We’re looking for the district championship. We came in second place last year against Wilkes-Barre. We’re looking for that first-place medal. We’re looking for revenge.

What’s been the biggest area of improvement in your game? Rebounding. I’m just looking to help my team out any way possible. If it has to be rebounding, if it has to be scoring, if it has to be passing. I feel like rebounding has definitely been a big improvement over last year.

Who’s your most improved teammate this season? Arvel Chandler. He’s gotten a lot more confidence in the last year. It makes a big impact on the defensive end with steals and on the offensive end with his passing and scoring.
Who’s your funniest teammate? I say Phoenix Woodard. He just cracks jokes out of nowhere, all the time.

Is there an athlete you admire? Steph Curry. I just like the way he plays. He changed the game of basketball as it is today. I model a lot of my game after him.

Biggest influence on your athletic career. Definitely my father. Growing up, he always took me to shoot at different gyms, gave me little workouts to do.

It’s been a different year, to say the least. What’s the biggest battle you fought because of the COVID pandemic? I’d say just find a place to play. Me and my friends were going to outside parks and stuff. Definitely finding an inside gym to work out and get better.
Other than sports, what is one thing you would like to learn in your lifetime? Probably how to do a backflip. I can do one on a trampoline, just not on the ground.

One dish in your house that is served that you can’t live without. My mom’s walking tacos. Got the Doritos, the meat, the cheese, the black olives.

Three people you would like to have dinner with. Kevin Hart, Steph Curry and Larry Bird.
