Bikini Bottom’s newest resident has Electric City roots.
Scranton native Lorenzo Pugliese will step into the title role when “The SpongeBob Musical” national tour hits the road this fall.
Residents may recognize the Scranton High School graduate from his work with Scranton Shakespeare Festival including the role of Ren in “Footloose” in 2018 and this summer’s “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.”
The tour begins Sunday, Sept.22, in New York and will travel throughout the country including a stop at Forrest Theatre in Philadelphia from Tuesday, Dec. 3, through Sunday, Dec. 15.
