Creative and Performing Arts Academy of NEPA presents three kid-friendly shows this weekend.
The curtain opens on “Willy Wonka Kids,” “Dear Edwina Jr.” and “Lemonade,” at Ritz Theater, 222 Wyoming Ave., Scranton.
Performances begin on Friday, Nov. 8, with a double feature of “Willy Wonka Kids” (cast A) and “Dear Edwina Jr.,” starting at 6:30 p.m. On Saturday, Nov. 9, audiences can catch three shows, “Lemonade,” “Willy Wonka Kids” (cast A) and “Dear Edwina Jr.” beginning at 1 p.m. That evening, “Willy Wonka Kids” (cast B) and “Dear Edwina Jr.” begin at 6:30 p.m. The weekend wraps up on Sunday, Nov. 10, at 4 p.m. with “Lemonade,” “Willy Wonka Kids” (cast B) and “Dear Edwina Jr.”
“Lemonade” runs 25 minutes, “Willy Wonka Kids” runs 35 minutes and “Dear Edwina Jr.” is 70 minutes. Each show is performed with a short intermission before the next. Each ticket includes all shows playing at that time.
General admission tickets cost $11.50 for adults and $6.50 children younger than 12. Limited reserved seating tickets cost $16.50. All tickets can be purchased at the door an hour before curtain or online at ShowTix4U.com. The theater opens 30 minutes prior to curtain and is wheelchair-accessible. Parking is available in the Linden Avenue lot for $5.
