The first 100 guests at a grand opening celebration for a new Dunkin’ franchise will receive free coffee for a year.
The first “next-generation” Dunkin’ restaurant will open at 3380 N Main Ave., Scranton, on Friday, Jan. 17. Starting at 7 a.m., the the first 100 guests at the front door — not the drive-through lane — will receive the free coffee deal. Those people will each receive one coupon book valid for four free medium hot or iced coffees per month for 12 months plus two bonus months for a total of 56 coupons.
The deal comes with a few exceptions: it excludes Cold Brew and Espresso, is valid only at the 3380 N. Main Av.e location, and guests might have to pay extra for almond milk in their coffees.
Also that day, the franchisee network 5IVES Companies and local officials will cut a ceremonial ribbon, and 5IVES Companies then will present a check donating $1,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Scranton. The event will giveaways and more.
The 1,700 square-foot restaurant will be open daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. and features Wi-Fi as well as “Dunkin’s new modern design and in-store innovations, including a cold beverage tap system,” according to an announcement.
