Children dressed as princesses, superheroes and monsters will be able to collect candy in the city on Halloween night.
The Pottsville neighborhood trick-or-treat night will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, officials announced Wednesday.
With the coronavirus pandemic going on, some modifications have been made for the evening:
The event is intended for city residents only.
Trick or treaters should be limited to small groups of friends or families.
Participants should consider using a Halloween-themed cloth mask.
Everyone, including those accompanying children, should abide by social distancing guidelines and wear face masks.
City officials advised residents to abide by the new rules and “other common-sense guidelines that are vital components to a safe Trick or Treating evening.”
They added, “please be careful and stay safe.”
