The beach at Tobyhanna State Park will be closed for swimming until further notice after “water sample failures” on Wednesday.
Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources officials said the beach will reopen when acceptable water sample test results are received.
All other recreational activities at the park remain open to the public, and lake swimming is available at nearby Gouldsboro State Park.
