A downtown Scranton salon and retailer is opening a spa for clients to get manicures, pedicures and facials, among other indulgences, inside the Connell Lofts building, 129 N. Washington Ave.
Lavish historically offered those services in its salon and retail shop at Linden Street and Adams Avenue but suspended them to make more room for stylists, co-owner Lauren Woodard said. She owns the business with her husband, Micah.
The satellite spa, set to open in early October, will also offer waxing, spray tanning and eyelash extensions.
A grand opening event is planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 4 to join other First Friday festivities downtown.
