Kildare’s in Scranton is closed for good.
The popular Lackawanna Avenue pub and eatery, an especially lively place on Parade Day, announced its permanent closure Wednesday.
In a statement, owner Dave Magrogan said shutting down the Irish-themed bar is part of his company’s plan to focus on its Harvest Seasonal Grill brand. There’s a Harvest restaurant in Moosic near the Shoppes at Montage.
“Effective today, after 10 years of successful operations, we are closing Kildare’s Scranton,” Magrogan said in the statement.
