Mohegan Sun Pocono, Plains Twp., has postponed tonight’s Party on the Patio debut because of anticipated severe weather, the casino announced this morning.
“Mohegan Sun Pocono is committed to providing a positive, safe and fun outdoor concert experience,” the casino wrote in a statement on its website. “Due to the threat of severe weather throughout the day, tonight’s Party on the Patio with 7800 Fahrenheit is postponed until Thursday, Sept. 5, to ensure the safety of our guests and team members.”
7800 Fahrenheit is a local Bon Jovi tribute act. The free Party on the Patio, which is open to ages 21 and older, runs on Thursday nights throughout the summer and features various tribute bands.
The casino noted that indoor entertainment will continue tonight as planned: live music, 8 p.m., Breakers; live music, 9:45 p.m., Bar Louie; and karaoke, 9 p.m., Molly O’Sheas Pub & Eatery.
