The public won’t have access to the trail and parking lot at Lake Scranton until the snow predicted to blanket the area through Thursday subsides, Pennsylvania American Water announced.
The closure begins today . The trail and parking lot will reopen to the public on Friday.
The company asks Lake Scranton users to avoid parking in other areas to access the trail.
“For the safety of the walkers and our employees, we’re asking everyone to avoid the area and give our crews time to clear the lot,” said Pennsylvania American Water Senior Manager Traci Cross.
