It’s been part of the Thanksgiving holidays for nearly four decades, but this year’s Andy Gavin’s Green Ridge Mile, which benefits United Cerebral Palsy, will have a different feel.
Because of current health concerns, the 39th annual race will be a virtual mile which runners can run between midnight Friday and noon Nov. 29, then submit your time.
Cost is $15 for the race, $25 with a commemorative T-shirt. Registration and timing is by Scranton Running Company. To register, visit runsignup.com/greenridgemile.
