Thursday is National Dump the Pump Day. It is a time to emphasize how public transportation can help individuals save money and help the environment.
On Thursday, Hazleton Public Transit will offer free rides all day to the public.
HPT also announced a number of schedule changes effective Friday.
The Route 95 Loop will end at 8:34 p.m. On Saturday, the Route 110 Loop will end service at 7:52 p.m. Sundays, the Route 100 Loop will return to service from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Effective Monday, the Route 15 bus serving Wilkes-Barre and Mountain Top will operate under its normal schedule.
