A new Sheetz convenience store opened Thursday in Taylor.
The 4,900-square-foot facility, located at 114 S. Main St., will be open 24 hours like each of the company’s nine other locations through Lackawanna and Luzerne counties.
In honor of the grand opening, Sheetz donated $2,500 to the Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Northeast Regional Food Bank and $2,500 to the Special Olympics of Pennsylvania.
