The Hazleton Art League will present a very exciting gallery exhibition by Dave Kube titled “Counter Encounter.” This is a show that will tickle the senses of visitors with colors, movement and meaning. Everyone is welcome.

Counter Encounter’s underlying focus is on the idea of vulnerable populations trying to create a better world by escaping or changing the current one. It has a lot of influence from sci-fi and utilizes photography in various ways.

The opening reception will be held Friday, March 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hazleton Art League. Kube will speak at 7 p.m. For more information, visit hazletonsartleague.org/gallery.
