Lifeguards from other state parks are helping to keep the pool complex open at Lackawanna State Park.
The park announced Sunday on Facebook the pool will be closed indefinitely because of staffing shortages. However the park posted Tuesday that the pool will remain open for the season because of the outside help.
The pool is open Thursday to Monday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; the splash pad is open until 5 p.m. Pool hours and days open are subject to change based on lifeguard availability, the post states.
Contact 570-945-3239, option 4, for current pool information before visiting.
