Samario’s Pizza & Restaurant and the Salad Shop head chef Sammy Parlopiano Jr. will appear on an upcoming episode of “Chef Boot Camp.”
The restaurant shared the news on its Facebook page today.
“We can finally announce our head chef here (The Salad Shop) and Samarios Pizza & Restaurant Sammy will be on a episode of #chefbootcamp on #thefoodnetwork (on) Thursday, May 13th at 10 p.m. Tune in watch our chef go through a brutal three day process of tasks to come out better than ever,” the post read.
Chef Boot Camp airs on Thursdays at 10 p.m. on the Food Network and features Chef Cliff Crooks, who also has been on “Hell’s Kitchen” and “Top Chef.” Parlopiano will appear on the episode airing Thursday, May 13, according to the Facebook post.
Samario’s Pizza & Restaurant, 119-121 W. Market St., Scranton, serves Italian fare, while the Salad Shop, 316 Penn Ave., Scranton, serves fresh, healthy salads that are customizable.
