“I chose to show the slow transfer from the warm colors of summer into the cool frost of early winter. From migration to hibernation, wildlife are in summer mode as they prepare for the cold months ahead. Pen and ink is one of my favorite mediums because of the amount of control I have over various values and textures. Acrylic and watercolor are mediums I don’t necessarily use but helped bring it all together.”
