Weis Markets launched its 13th annual Fight Hunger campaign, a program in which shoppers sponsor families in need by purchasing vouchers.
To participate, shoppers can buy vouchers for $1, $3, $5 or $10 at checkout.
Donations support regional food banks in the seven states where Weis has supermarkets, including the Weinberg Northeast Regional Food Bank, which serves Northeast Pennsylvania.
Supplemented with company donations, Fight Hunger has raised more than $2.5 million since its inception.
