A special Halloween dance party will be held Sunday, Oct. 27, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Eurana Park indoor gymnasium/pavilion, 560 Third St., Weatherly.

This event is for special needs individuals of all ages, their families and caregivers.

All are invited to attend this first-time free event, which will take place rain or shine.

Officers from the Weatherly Police Department and firefighters from Weatherly Fire Department will be in attendance with their police vehicle and fire truck for safe Halloween fun.

This event will include balloon tying, ring toss, pumpkin painting, monster picture corner, pinata pumpkin plus music by DJ Dotzel.

A special thank you goes to DJ Andrew Dotzel, KME Fire Apparatus, Weatherly Community Chest, Weatherly Police Department, Weatherly Fire Department, Weatherly Citizens Fire Company Auxiliary and the Weatherly Area High School varsity cross country team for working this event.

A donation of a nonperishable food items to benefit the Shepherd House Food Pantry in Weatherly would be appreciated.
