Each year, at the conclusion of the regular season, the Jordan Relays give track and field athletes one final chance to work as a team in pursuit of a championship.

Coaches and athletes enjoy this meet because the teams that have the best depth and work best with relays generally shine. Of course, the team title would be greatly improved if the field event athletes could participate somehow (and there are ways), but that is an argument for a future Lackawanna Track Conference meeting.

Through the years, this event, which honors the memory of Emmitt Jordan, the first president of the LTC, produces the most thrilling finishes and the wildest celebrations.

And this event, above all others, is steeped in rich tradition. To still be going after all these years, and to still be one of the signature postseason track meets is a credit to the LTC officers who keep this going strong.
