The 2018-2019 scholastic sports season finished strong as the LIAA had a state champion crowned.

Western Wayne junior Trina Barcarola won not one, but two gold medals at the PIAA Class 2A Championship meet to highlight a soggy spring sports season in NEPA.

Dynasty programs continued to add to their legacies in track and field, and boys tennis, Honesdale softball made a memorable journey to the state semifinals, a new champion emerged in boys volleyball, and lacrosse continues to build and gain popularity.
