Margaret Shafer married Clarence Tait Leighton on Tuesday, April, 22, 1924, in Second Presbyterian Church, Scranton. Margaret was the daughter of Hampton C. Shafer, founder and the first president of the former Lincoln Trust Co. of Scranton.
