Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Jason Isbell will bring his collection of heartfelt Americana songs to Wilkes-Barre on Thursday, Dec. 19, with an 8 p.m. performance at F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts, 71 Public Square.
Tickets for the show will go on sale starting Friday, Sept. 13, at 10 a.m. through the box office, 570-826-1100 or kirbycenter.org. Kirby members will have access to a pre-sale that begins Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 10 a.m.
Tickets costs $39.50, $49.50, $59.50, $69.50 and $99.50, plus fees.
Isbell’s most recent studio albums, “The Nashville Sound” and “Something More Than Free,” won Grammys for Best Americana Album and Best American Roots Song.
Patrice Wilding is a 13-year employee of the Lifestyles Dept. at The Times-Tribune, where she worked her way up from a clerk to a web video producer to a full-time reporter, writer and copy editor. An Olyphant native, she graduated from Mid Valley Secondary Center and earned a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies with concentration in media arts, political science and communications from Wesley College, Dover, Delaware.
