Ain’t no wedding like an ‘Office’ wedding.
John Krasinski threw a Zoom wedding for fans of NBC comedy on Sunday.
During the latest episode of his web series, “Some Good News,” Krasinski also reunited with his former cast mates to celebrate the nuptials.
After the pair of “Office” fans told Krasinski that they had re-created his character Jim’s proposal to Pam (Jenna Fischer) with an unconventional proposal outside of a gas station, Krasinski became ordained to marry them online. He surprised them with the virtual wedding, including their parents and a special wedding party for the ceremony.
Fischer stepped in for the bride’s maid of honor as country star Zac Brown sang “The Man Who Loves You the Most.” Then, the rest of the “Office” cast appeared, including Steve Carell, Mindy Kaling, Rainn Wilson, Angela Kinsey, Ed Helms, Kate Flannery, Brian Baumgartner, Phyllis Smith, Oscar Nuñez, B.J. Novak and Creed Bratton, all calling in from their homes.
The cast danced to “Forever” by Chris Brown, which was featured as the wedding party’s entrance song in the episode where Jim and Pam were married.
“Since you so elegantly ripped off our show for your proposal, I feel like it’s only fitting that you rip off the wedding too,” Krasinski said.
