Sheetz plans to construct a store at the site of Reese’s Classic Pizza at 550 E. Main St. in Larksville at the end of the Carey Avenue bridge, Sheetz spokesman Nick Ruffner said Monday.
Classic Pizza’s building, an empty building and a strip mall behind it will be demolished to make way for a Sheetz that will be more than 6,000 square feet.
The new Sheetz will have the capability to fuel 12 vehicles at one time and will feature inside and outside seating, Ruffner said.
Because the new store is still in the permitting process, Ruffner said it is too early to discuss the timing of when construction will begin and when it is projected to open.
Classic Pizza remains open in the meantime.
