College Football Hall of Fame member and Wilkes-Barre native Raghib “Rocket” Ismail will serve as the keystone speaker at the NEPA Alliance Annual Dinner on Sept. 26 at The Woodlands Inn and Resort in Plains Twp.
Ismail, who graduated from Meyers High School in Wilkes-Barre, went on to become one of college football’s best players at Notre Dame. He was a two-time All-American and finished second in the 1990 Heisman Trophy voting.
A reception will be held starting at 4:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6 p.m.
