Dunkin’ this week unveiled renovations to transform its 742 Davis St. restaurant into one of the coffee and doughnut shop’s “next-generation” stores.

The new location features signature cold beverages served from Dunkin’s novel tap system and a high-end espresso machine.

Renovations were designed to save 25% on energy consumption compared to standard Dunkin’ locations.

The Davis Street location, owned by area franchisee Holly Carron of H.W. Roever Inc. in Moosic, employs about 21 workers. A grand opening is to be scheduled for a later date.
