The first Independence Day charity event presented by the Paul and Lisa DeAngelo Family Foundation will be held July 3 at City View Park, 700 Poplar St., Hazleton.

The fundraising community event will include a 5K run/walk and 10K run, a family walk and activities for the entire family.
